NOVA’s patients are getting medical care in our brand-new clinic!

NOVA Hope for Haiti is excited to announce that construction is complete on our clinic and it was opened in early January.  Since the August 2021 earthquake, our medical staff has been treating patients in temporary spaces, including the garage, the surviving part of our old building that was retrofitted to accommodate the clinic operations and under the pavilion that was completed in Phase I.

Our new clinic has a reception area, five large exam rooms, a pharmacy and lab, patient and staff bathrooms, a clinician administrative room and a refuse room.

The building was constructed with a flat roof for a potential second floor with a goal to  expand our services in the future.

We are grateful to Serge Aime and Hudco Development Contruction who worked closely with our US Executive Committee to complete this beautiful building despite all the challenges over the past two years with material and supply chain disruptions.

The project also passed periodic inspections by Building Health International (BHI) who provided us the assurances and reports that the construction was up to Haitian building standards for a medical facility.
